Your Redtread Accommodation
The Redtread Country House, Monte Pino, is solely for the use of our guests and enjoys a rural setting within a one acre plot of mature gardens, containing olive trees, herb plants, cactus and Pepper trees. Our hosts Lesley and Adrian live onsite too, to make sure you have everything you need at all times.
Facilities
All our suites offer fantastic views over the mountains and down to the Mediterranean Sea. Each suite has a kitchen, bathroom, and private terrace. There are tea and coffee making facility in each suite and Sky TV.
Our large salt water pool is surrounded by terrace, which has plenty of sunbathing furniture and a BBQ - thanks to our location, none of the property or its gardens are overlooked.
After a hard days trail riding you can unwind in our well stocked bar into the small hours, where there is also free WIFI access. We also offer food on most nights, so there is no need to go anywhere if all you want to do is relax.
Monte Pino, the luxury Country House exclusively for Redtread customers
Monte Pino is located at the foot of the Natural Park on a South facing slope and is a 10 minute stroll from the traditional mountain village of Competa and literally seconds walk from the beautiful trails of the Sierra Tejeda Mountains.
The mansion is solely for Redtread guests so you'll be sharing the facilities with fellow bike riders and will not be subjected to usual off road riding issues when based in a hotel, like arriving in the foyer covered in dust and dirt to the disapproval of the concierge. You of course will also be able to spend the evening dissecting the days riding with fellow likeminded people!
Redtread is based in Competa
Competa village is a typical beautiful whitewashed Spanish village where there are 30 bars and restaurants to choose from, should you wish to take the walk down. There are banks, lots of shops, supermarkets - just watch out for them closing for siesta at 2pm.
Nerja is the nearest tourist town and is approx 35 minutes drive from Redtread whilst Velez Malaga is the nearest shopping Spanish town and is also approx 35 minutes away.
The Coast and nearest beach is 30 minutes drive from Redtread where there are plenty of beaches to choose from with facilities for toilet and restaurants.
Malaga airport is 50 minutes drive from Redtread; we will happily arrange your Airport Transfers.
